Our Story

Ujima Cultural Solutions was founded by Bertrand Evans-Taylor in 2021. At the height of the pandemic, it became clear to him that new cultural practices were needed for the new times that the world found itself in. So, while in graduate school at the University of Denver, he created Ujima Cultural to help spread the word and bring sustainable, community-driven solutions to organizations whose missions are vital to a healthy and vibrant American arts ecosystem.
